Introduction
Moje Zdravlje is a patient-facing healthcare app designed to reduce hospital waiting times and improve access to medical services. The project creators approached us to design both the app’s UX and UI, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for users seeking medical assistance.
The app provides a self-triage system, real-time wait tracking, service discovery, and personalised health management, empowering users to make informed healthcare decisions and streamline their visits to medical facilities.
Challenge
Long hospital wait times and a lack of clear information often leave patients frustrated and unsure whether they need to visit an emergency room, a clinic, GP, or a pharmacy.
Patients frequently forget important details about their symptoms or treatments, making it difficult to communicate effectively with doctors.
Finding nearby medical services can be challenging, especially when trying to determine availability, wait times, or essential amenities like parking and accessibility.
Users need a way to manage their personal health information, set medication reminders, and track medical appointments in one convenient place.
Solution
A self-triage feature was designed to help users assess their symptoms and receive recommendations on whether to visit an ER, a clinic, GP, or pharmacy. If emergency care is needed, users can track wait times, log symptoms, and add visit notes for better communication with doctors.
A service discovery tool allows users to find nearby emergency rooms, clinics, and pharmacies using a map or list view with filters for accessibility, opening hours, and busyness.
An integrated FAQ section provides reliable medical information, including symptoms, causes, and treatment options, reducing unnecessary visits to healthcare facilities.
A personalised account dashboard enables users to manage their health conditions, set medication and appointment reminders, and customise app functionality for a more tailored experience.
